Dental Assistant Annual Certification Renewal Information

The legislation governing certificate renewals for registered dental assistants (RDA) are The Dental Association Act and the Bylaw for Registration and Certification of Dental Assistants (the Bylaw). Subject to the conditions, restrictions and limitations of the legislation, your registration or those otherwise imposed, a dental assistant is eligible to renew their certificate. 

RDA in eligible categories will receive renewal forms directly from the MDA prior to the expiration date of April 30. The Bylaw provides for the most accurate information.
